Tackling sexism in the workplace
The Problem:
Sexism at work – manifestations of sexism in the workplace are varied. They can be difficult to prevent, identify, and address.
The Goal:
With ReplyToo, we want to help organizations prevent sexism, and inform, raise awareness, educate, and equip employees to deal with it.
Our Proposal:
Through a participatory creative process, we organize collaborative workshops within organizations from different sectors and regions, allowing participants (men and women) to share their experiences with sexism – as victims and/or as witnesses.
The information collected during these sessions will be compiled in an app called “#ReplyToo.” Anyone who wishes can consult it and contribute to it. Content on the App will be moderated.
Our Approach is different:
A comprehensive working method that enables prevention, information, awareness, education, and equipping employees; that involves men and gives a voice to both victims and witnesses.
The creation of a collaborative tool (mobile app) that enables people to reply and respond appropriately.
The collection of anonymous data allowing to quantify workplace sexism (statistical tool).
